Marie, from Dolly Dimples

Marie Mcallister from County Durham first came to Clarise as a beginner  in January 2010. She nearly missed the course because of the deep snow but braved the weather and was glad she did. Marie has keep in touch with us through the Clarise Students Facebook group and by telephone. She has been very persistant in her marketing and has secured some really good orders including  Likenesses of Kerry Catona's children and fingerprint impressions of Dani Minogue's children. She exhibits at some of the main baby and gift shows in the north East. She says "she is so pleased she made it to the Clarise fingerprint for business course she learnt so much and she would not be in the position she is now without all the help and support given after the class. Denise is so patient and does not mind answering questions after the course". The comment she added to the PMC guild website was very kind: "A fabulous course with a fabulous teacher! I would greatly recommend this course for anyone wanting to learn a new hobby or new business venture as I did. Within a few months I set up my website with help and support from Denise and it is going from strength to strength!! She is always at the end of the telephone when ever I need advice on something which I am extremely greatful for. Many Thanks Denise"

 Ruth from Precious Little Treasures

Ruth Scohfield is the owner of A childrens clothes and gift shop in Clithero she  previously allowed a large franchaise company to take childrens prints in her shop but having seen how it was done wanted to have a go herself to be able to offer a complete service for her customers. She attended the baby fingerprint course and hand and footprint course, bought a kiln and all the equipment needed to start straight away. She says " Thanks Denise for showing me how to expand my business and being so patient. Now I have some bookings for my first print day I feel like one of your fledglings flying off into the keepsake jewellery world" Ruths first fingerprint day was a big success taking orders over £1000.  Why not call in the shop or visit the site http://www.preciouslittletreasures.co.uk

Monica and Mindy came to the beginners PMC course. Here they are having a laugh. Mindy also did the silversmithing class on a Tuesday evening.

Ann Marie travelled over from Cork, Southern Ireland to attend a baby fingerprint business course. She was hard at work polishing her piece up to a professional finish. Her husband rang on the way back to Ireland to say thank you very much and that she had learnt a lot in the few days she had been on the course.

Helen and Paul have attended a Fingerprint Business course and a bespoke course for extra skills with PMC. They are intending to start up their own unique keepsake business in the spring of 2010. I really enjoyed teaching Helen and Paul as they have the best combination of skills to start their own art and craft business. Paul is now confident with the PMC and has discovered that he has a talent for making stylish jewellery and finishing it to a professional standard. Helen is intending devote her time to promoting the new business, all the sales and administration as well helping Paul with the making once the business is up and running.

Louise and Angie bead making on Module 1 for business. Louise will be back for the baby fingerprint business course. Angie was so thrilled with her results on the course that she purchased a kiln from Clarise Jewellery and is now busy making her own PMC jewellery.

Lilly was the youngest ever student on a baby fingerprint in pmc course. And her mum Kirsty really enjoyed herself too!
