Sheila Russell completed her Clarise Diploma in Mixed Media Jewellery and the necklace above was her final piece. Sheila said "I had a wonderful 2 days and have had lots of lovely comments about my necklace, Thanks Denise"

Caroline Brogden came to several of our classes starting with Beginners Silver Clay and then progressing to silver smithing and finally the Clarise Diploma in Jewellery Making. She is now running her own jewellery business, Seabreeze Designs (www.seabreezedesigns.co.uk) "I can not recommend Clarise Jewellery enough, Denise is a kind patient teacher and really allows you to excel and develop your ides. She has launched me into a new career that I am loving and I can never thank her enough."


Sophie Williamson joined us on the Keepsake Jewellery for Business course and has now set up her own workshop in a craft studio in Sheffield. She has been making keepsake jewellery for the last two years. Rosie Sutton also came on beginner's metal clay, intermediate ring making and glass cabochons course and then went on to do the 5 day keepsake jewellery course. She is now living and working in Australia. She said "I felt we learnt a good amount for a beginner's course, If I ever come to Leeds I will definitely be doing more contemporary jewellery courses with Denise. The workshop environment is friendly and fun!

Riekie Ascough came to us through the redundancy service programme from Leeds City College. She took beginner's and intermediate metal clay courses and is now making her own designer jewellery in Spain. "The whole course was really useful and I took home several pieces of jewellery that I made. I hope to do more in the future!" 

Monica and Mindy came to the beginners PMC course. Mindy also did the silversmithing class on a Tuesday evening.


 

Debbie Stevenson from Burley Beads came on the Beginner's Metal Clay course and was able to use the skills she had from working with polymer clay. She said "Excellent day with good tuition! Thank you Denise, would recommend it to others.

John Blenkinson also attended the Beginner's Metal Clay and was hooked so decided to come back for a one to one session turning his own artwork into metal clay jewellery (shown above). John said "A wonderful day. The time flew and the teaching was excellent."
